I'm back with some more post-rock and maidcore inspired music.
I tried to lean more towards something dark/nostalgic, but vaguely hopeful unexplainable feeling that I get from a lot of maidcore. It's that interplay of conflicting emotions that is most interesting to me -- and there's the usual ambient vibe mixed with a sort of restrained aggression.
This is unrelated to the music itself, but my past few songs have been inspired to serve as 'concept' tracks for my OC story -- I haven't really written it down, but I like 'building' up the general plot/story in my head. I'm not gonna spoil the story but maybe you can make out the vague plot i've been having in mind with the recent songs. Maybe I will turn these songs into a concept album soon!
(Partially inspired by post-rock like Godspeed You Black Emperor, Maybeshewill, If These Trees Could Talk, 65daysofstatic, Caspian, Mono, and Yakui the Maid, and a bit of Akira Yamaoka too especially his SH guitar instrumentals)
