VERSUS THE MOONLIGHT 【Orchestral/Electronic/Rock】
This is my attempt at hybrid mix of electronic/edm, post-rock, classical/orchestral instrumental, with a bit of breakcore vibe. I think it ended up sounding like some anime/fighting video game stage theme of some kind.
I was initially trying to do something leaning towards post-rock with ambient synths and orchestral parts (I was trying to emulate one of my favorite bands, 65daysofstatic, with some maidcore influence), but at some point tried adding an amen break in the drum track for fun, and slowly the breakcore-influence started taking over, increased the BPM, and somehow I ended up with this.
If you listen closely to some parts of the track, the remnants of the original post-rock riffs are there (that was the what the track started out as, lol), but it soon got flooded with the synths and violin/string parts.
(Sorry in advance to the new subs, who subbed expecting this to be a traditional post-rock channel -- you must be weirded out by the genre jumps in the last few uploads lol. If you check out my oldest uploads, this started out on the electronic/orchestral side of things, so i'm just trying to revive some of that. I'll be probably jumping between electronic, soundtrack music, post-rock/post-metal, and sometimes a mix of these, from time to time, so don't be too surprised. Hope you still like it!)
