"As her enemy lies broken before her, she realizes they are not so different after all."
I made some more instrumental post-rock/post-metal/maidcore inspired thing, focusing more on ambient/atmospheric riffs, puncuated by heavy, aggressive crescendos.
Thematically, this is meant to be sort of a sequel song to "The Girl with Silverine Eyes", although the style is more focused on atmosphere. This one is closer to traditional post-rock, with just my guitar recordings (i've got humbuckers recently and i've been obsessed with the fuller, darker sound!), and FX pedals -- with lots of reverb and delay.
For those not familiar with my work, i'm inspired by post-rock like Mogwai, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Maybeshewill, If These Trees Could Talk, Caspian, Mono, etc., and recently the Maidcore subgenre of post-rock (Yakui and Chikoi are my favorites).
(For my subs, I know you might be surprised I uploaded another song just 24-hours after the last one -- but there's a reason for that. I'm gonna be a bit busy over the next few weeks with some IRL stuff, so I might not have time for music over the next few weeks. So I crammed all the inspiration I have over the last few days. Now it's time to rest for a bit. Hope you like it! ;p)
