Where to Store & Save the Keys.txt File for CEMU with EmuDeck?

CEMU is a popular Wii U emulator that is available on a number of different platforms. Most people with a Steam Deck are likely using EmuDeck to install the emulator, but I'm reading that a lot of people are unsure of where to put the keys.txt file.

So today, I can show you where to store that file once you have downloaded it from the internet.
CEMU keys.txt Location
I am unable to show you how to download the keys.txt file, but most of you will be able to find it quite easily using just about any search engine out there.
As mentioned, we're working with a CEMU install that was done using EmuDeck.
If you're unclear on how to install this popular Steam Deck Mod, then you're in luck.
I have previously created a video showing you all of the steps involved. So I'll be sure to include a link to that guide in the video description below. It will be included within the pinned comment as well, so that it's easy for everyone to find.
If you have EmuDeck already but still are unable to get CEMU installed, then let me know in the comments section below as I may need to create a dedicated video about that.
Once you have CEMU installed and working, though, let's get to putting that keys.txt file in the correct folder.
So you will need to put that keys.txt file on the Steam Deck
This can be via the microSD card slot.
You could have that file ready in a USB thumb drive.
Or you could have it available on a network drive (which is what I do)
But which ever method is easiest for you.
Just make sure you have that file readily available.
Then, we're going to reboot the Steam Deck into Desktop Mode.
And once you're here, let's open up a File Manager window
We're going to click on the "Home" option up here in the Places section
And we need to show hidden files and folders.
So click on the hamburger menu up here in this corner.
Then click the Show Hidden Files option
You should see a check next to this once it has been enabled.
Now, go back to that Home folder and you should then see another folder labeled .local.
Let's double click into that folder.
Then double click into the share folder
And finally double click into the Cemu folder.
If you don't see the Cemu folder here, then you may not have installed it via EmuDeck.
So double check that you have done that.
But this is where you want to save that keys.txt file.
It simply needs to be named keys.txt
So if you downloaded a zipped up copy then make sure it has been extracted.
With the keys.txt file in the proper location
Let's reboot the Steam Deck back into Gaming Mode
And then load up the CEMU emulator to test things out.
