This vintage 8mm film footage was shot in Zoar Valley, New York, some time in the mid to late 1930s or early 1940s. Based on the vehicles in the film, it looks more like mid 1930s. The film is believed to be shot by George Devlin, and features Gertrude K. Ulrich among other friends and family. The film is annotated as Gert's Hike, Zoar Valley and Rifle Range. The baseball game is a nice touch of Americana, and the film ends with the ladies riding horses, running out of film just as one of the women improvises a new horse mounting technique.
