March 1944 Canadian Rockies, June 1947 Lake Louise
Here are two films by George Devlin, the first of the Rockies with the expiry date of March 1944, then later at Chateau Lake Louise with an expiry date of June 1947. The film ends up at a picnic in Vancouver, showing downtown for a few seconds, I believe from Hotel Vancouver, with a fleeting view across the street of the Georgia Medical Dental Building. Music is Gershwin's Piano Concerto in F, performed by the New York Philharmonic on either January 6, 1946 or December 14, 1947 and broadcast on CBS radio same date.
