Understanding protocol stacks | An analogy for the TCP/IP model
This introductory video is made for my GCSE Computer Science students to understand how we can model a complex communications system into a stack of protocol layers. It will be seen that each layer uses the services of another layer and that protocols can be changed without necessarily affecting the other layers. This is an important concept to grasp before moving on to studying the TCP/IP model.
