Boxford metal lathe for sale
Vintage Boxford metal lathe for sale.
This lathe must be sold to make room for another project. It is currently fitted with a virtually brand new and not cheap single to 3 phase vfd and 3 phase motor. I am considering all sensible offers with or without the vfd and motor in the deal. I have other motors if needed.
The back gear works well and is not damaged. The lathe bed is marked in places but has worked well enough for my use. The lead screw and half nuts are worn and will need attention - I was going to buy new half nuts (you can import compatible ones) but never got around to it.
Access is good and I have a pallet truck making it easy to shift around. You'll need a van or trailer.
