Just replaced the 30 uF (30 MFD) run capacitor in this 1.5 kW single-phase capacitor-start, capacitor-run motor. The failed capacitor was fitted with a trailing lead but the replacement capacitor had push fit lug terminals. I had to find a temporary way to cover the exposed connections.
The motor is easy to work on with a large connection/terminal box and clear wiring diagram for changing the start direction. The bearings are bit noisy but if used on a compressor I doubt this would be a problem.
