Liverpool-based Loathe broke into the metalcore scene with the release of their debut album The Cold Sun in 2017. Their musical stylings drew comparisons to Deftones' signature combination of beauty and darkness. Chino Moreno himself even commented on the band, saying Loathe's discography is "...better than all your stupid music, including mine."
