This is genuinely one of the best first-person shooters I've ever played. I usually don't like rogue-like games because they lack any permanent progression to leave me wanting to come back to it, and the opening stages of a run are often boring and tedious to me. Deadlink is a rogue-lite, first of all, which means there's progression beyond the runs themselves, giving it a headstart over other rogue-likes. Above that, though, the gameplay itself is EXCRUCIATINGLY fun. This is probably the only rogue-like I've ever enjoyed, and will likely remain the only one for years to come.
The game itself is pretty short with just two boss battles to burn through, but I can see myself being hooked on the gameplay alone for weeks to come.

(I usually play on Tritanopia colour blindness mode because it's easier for me to tell enemies apart from the scenery without making the game look too different compared to its base palette. I disable it some time through the gameplay because i figured people would wanna see what the base colour palette looks like lmao oopsies)
