In Pursuit of the Presence | Pastor Paul Arthurs
Seeing something and pursuing it are two very different things. Many recognize the need for the presence of God, but awareness alone doesn’t always lead to action. Consider the Magi: When they saw the star, their discovery compelled them to undertake a costly and arduous journey to Bethlehem. These were highly educated, influential, and wealthy men who didn’t travel 800 miles through the desert out of boredom. Instead, they saw something so profound that they stopped everything to chase after the one thing that truly mattered.
