An introduction to the application of advanced risk management tools, as listed in the ISO31010, to events and festivals. All events use the risk standard: ISO31000, however the may overlook the tools as they are often based in mathematics and engineering. This series of videos will explain these in simple language using event examples and you can decide to use them or not.
Part 1 concerns logic, as this must be understood before applying risk tools. In particular that event risk can quickly become 'catastrophic' , due to the complexity and uniqueness.
Part 2 I describe three of the tools: Causal Analysis. Effect to Cause and Sensitivity Analysis.
Part 3 gives an introductory explanation of Bayesian Analysis, Markov Analysis, Layer protection Analysis.
