Metal detecting a colonial site / 1800s cabin site
This site we go metal detecting at is very interesting to say the least. It was once a colonial home and small farm up until the mid 1800's. Apparently through our discovery of what is in the ground there seems to have been some kind of camp out on the back of the property sometime in the late 1800's. This is the somewhere in the night sight as well as where Digger Charlie recently found the silver and copper coin spill with the Garrett ATGOLD. On this day Keebs & DC head over for some detecting and BAM! within minute a 1787 Connecticut Copper coin is dug up out of the ground ! it is then relic after relic coming out of the ground and the discovery of two more potential camp sites.
