JJR Iveco FL Unloading
I went for a few rides in a JJ Richards front lift back in 2011 and was able to score this unloading shot at the Artarmon transfer station. Full eject tip off on show, just be patient waiting for the blade to travel through the hopper before it impacts the rubbish and starts pushing it out. This wasn’t a maxed out load, I think it was only around 6t, not that this truck apparently packed hard anyway. It’s cool seeing the large rear door lift up and all the garbage drop out of it, you don’t get the same satisfaction with the newer versions that have thinner tailgates. This video footage is a bit rough and unorganised, just took whatever I could with the opportunity – you see a bit more than the featured truck dumping. I hope what’s shared here is enjoyed, you don’t often get to witness a front lift emptying out.
