St George SL41 In-Cab
If anyone remembers that original Rockdale video I got in 08/09, well that truck is this truck. In late 2013 I drove SL41 for a bit over a week while the regular operator was off and recall it broke down on me just about every morning! I set the camera for this in-cab shot when I was doing the Wednesday run in Kogarah, starts off with a wider angle, then a second view zooms in on the video monitor with auto camera mode enabled. The ability to use the slide and lift at the same time was barely a thing as you’ll see, but this changed after the next morning when I blew a hydraulic hose. Also first time I tried out a spinner knob on the steering wheel and got a look at the new joystick with the green buttons. Just setting the scene in the cab of a side loader, back when the garbage trucks sounded sweet, cruising between bins and tuned into breakfast radio for some morning entertainment.
