A quick guide to slow coffee (V60 Dripper)

A quick guide to the V60 dripper method, invented by The Hario Company in Japan company in 1921.
Step 1 - Rinse your filter paper and pre heat your decanter
Step 2 - Empty your rinse water
Step 3 - Weigh out 20g of ground coffee and add to your filter paper.
Give it a tap to level the coffee bed
Step 4 - Pour over 50g of off boil water (96 degrees) allow the coffee to off gas for 30 seconds
Step 5- Pour the remaining 250g of hot water in concentric circles, aiming to finish pouring at 1 minute 30 seconds.
Step 6 - Allow water to draw down through coffee bed. Aiming for a brew time of 2:30 minutes - 3 minutes
Pour and enjoy!
