IRON & FIRE -
The inverted AeroPress brewing method is said to have come about because of a desire to clone the brewing method of the Clover 1S coffee machine. It has become a very popular brew method as it gives you a lot more control over your brew than with the normal AeroPress method.
Dose: 20g
Water: 80g + 120g
Brew Time: 1:30 minutes
Grind Size: Medium/Fine (slightly coarser than caster sugar texture)
Step 1 - Flip your AeroPress over and add your ground coffee. Pour over the 80g of water and stir the coffee. Allow to brew for 1:30 minutes.
Step 2 - Whilst waiting for the coffee to finish brewing, pre-wet your cap and filter paper to remove the papery tastes and enable the paper to stick to the cap.
Step 3 - Attach the your cap and carefully flip the AeroPress over onto your mug. Slowly press the plunger, until just after the 'hiss' noise.
Step 4 - Add in the extra water to taste. We normally recommend around 120g. Stir together.
Step 5 - Enjoy!
