ASH OF ASHES - Down The White Waters (2018)
If you just looking by its name then it might be pop up in your mind that this is another modern metal bands or at least may be a Thrash Metal band. Well if you take a look at deeper to their band logo then immediately you can easily figure out what kind of band you are dealing with right now hahaa.. Yes indeed its actually another breed of Folk Metal style but then it was specifically named as Epic Skaldic Metal. Hah, it sounds quite majestic and of course exciting. Down The White Waters actually their debut album which I think really into the folkish style. Lots of folkish sounds with the elemnts of Pagan and Viking style. All of them was enhanced by the catchy metal music which absolutely make your mind blowing. For your info Ash Of Ashes is actually running by only 2 metalheads which is Skaldir and Morten. However they have been also supported by few guest musicians which makes this album becoming more lovely. Yes indeed and all of the 10 trax available sometimes really makes your mind rest in peacefully and soothing. Anyway some of them also managed to bang your head by their catchy banging tunes that makes your head unrest hahaa.. Hah, Ash Of Ashes really did a great job in this debut album. I think for the next stuffs they need to work double hard to beat this greatness of Down The White Waters. So, thats it bro.. I've nothing more to talk about as most of great album just only need you to play it loud and enjoy the precious. By the way thx to Markus of Metalmessage for this incredible album.
