Hah, the moment their music touch my ears then I keep on smiling all the way hahaa.. Yes indeed, A trip Of Violence really make mmy mind rewinding back to the giant Thrasher such as Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Kreator just to name a few. Well its hard to deny that every new Thrash Metal bands absolutely hails these mighthy Thrash bands. And of course if not much but a lil bit might be influenced them and you can trace it somewhere in their creations. Anyway I dont mean that Dawn Ahead or any newcomers didnt have any originality or even creativity in their musics. Yes they do have that kind of effort to create something new and different but its ok if they still have the old sounds in their music. Originality is quite subjective and we cant say this or that creations are fake or copycat. Its up to the listeners or fans to decide and those bands responsibility just to give the best in every album or EPs or even Demos. So as to this German thrashers and I think they still have that kind of creativity to create something new and different yet still not that much stray away from their Thrashing roots. I think their vocals mixture might a bit different compare to the usual Thrash Metal style. Yes indeed and they have 3 type of style which is growling, screaming and clean vox. Some of TM followers might be quite annoyed by the clean vox but sometimes we need to be open minded and accept the fact that every creations have their diversity within its musical varieties. So, I would say congrat to Dawn Ahead as you have gut to be different but still in line to the Thrash Metal roots. Ok, we have 6 trax in this EP including a bonus trax of Capturing Hell. I think I like all the trax available as it was very much catchy banging tunes. I guess you should try this at home.
