Amiga Running Natively on 1984 Sinclair QL - "Kickstart ROM Hack" Does it Work? Did it Kill my QL?
In this journal entry I'll try to confirm a story out of Germany that someone deconstructed the Amiga Kickstart 1.3 ROM and ported it over to the Sinclair QL allowing it to run Amiga software natively. Can OS calls to the Amiga chip set, including Paula, Denise, and Agnus really be re-routed to similar ones in the Sinclair QL with added software support to patch any missing capabilities? Is it really that simple for two Motorola 68000-based machines to be able to share code that easily? Find out as I will try and get it to work with surprising results.
