Q68 - Sinclair QL's "Spectrum Next" Board: an FPGA QL clone.
In this journal entry I'll be playing with my FPGA board, the Q68. It implements a Sinclair QL in "hardware" with 32MB of RAM and speeding along at about 28 times faster than the original machine. I'll try some software, including my ZX81 ROM emulator (ZXSimulator) to show off the Q68's amazing speed. My ZX81 implementation of Elite runs arcade-like and Minesweeper runs fast too. I'll even showcase the Q68's graphics ability by running a Mac-like graphical user interface for the QL.
