Lets Get Going Sri Lanka - Diyaluma Falls
Drove to Diyaluma from Colombo. Day journey!
Parking space available.You do not require a guide for this. The trail is easy and there are arrows on the trail that will guide you to the top.
It will take you 20-30mins to get to the top and another 5-8 mins to get to the bottom part of the falls.
Diyaluma Falls has to be the most beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka and also is the 2nd Largest Water Fall.
If you are planing on visiting, visit on a weekday. Not on a weekend or a holiday. Weekday is the best to avoid a crowd and to have the place to yourself.
Camping at the top is possible and you will find few shops that has food for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the start of your trail near the parking area.No tickets for entrance and parking is also free.
Important - Make sure you bring back everything you are carrying like plastic bottles, waste etc.
