T-series tank autoloading mechanisms explained (T-64, T-72, T-80, T-90, T-14 Armata)
This video shows how the operation of auto-loading mechanism found in tanks T-64, T-72, T-80, T-90, T-14 and their modifications. The principle of the auto-loading mechanism is that the mechanism is loaded manually by the grew while main gun is loaded by the auto-loader. This video shows how the auto-loading mechanism loads the main gun.
T-64 and T80 stores shells horizontally and fuses vertically on top of the shell. Loading happens in tandem with shell placed on the load rail first, fuse second, and they're pushed in together.
T-14 loading mechanism stores both shell and fuse vertically, and they are loaded sequentially similar to T-72/90.
