The most common and popular way to say thank you in Russian is the word СПАСИБО.
If you want to show just how thankful you are, you can add the adjective большой (big) to the word спасибо.
БОЛЬШОЕ СПАСИБО (thank you very much)
Literally it means “a big thanks”.
Or you can say огромное спасибо if someone really has done a favor or helped you a lot.
ОГРОМНОЕ СПАСИБО (thank you so much)
Literally it is “a huge thanks”.
If you want to thank for something, in Russian you have to use the preposition ЗА and 4 падеж (Accusative case). For instance,
спасибо за помощь - thanks for the help
Another way to sound interesting and not trivial would be using the old word БЛАГОДАРЮ (I thank you/ I’m grateful).
Or you can change the verb благодарить and turn it into an adjective saying:
Я благодарен (I’m grateful) – if you are male
Я благодарна (I’m grateful) – if you are female
Мы благодарны (we are grateful) – for plural
