How to Package DIY Single-Use Rose Petal Soaps!
Learn how to package rose petal single-use soaps in BIG flowers. They're gorgeous, realistic, & they smell amazing!
RECIPE: You only need a liquid to wet the petals in order to mold them (even water will work), everything else is optional! But use my recipe for additional foam and lather.
MY RECIPE: 50 milliliters liquid bubble bath, 1/8 cup sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (SLSa), 15 milliliters fragrance oil, and liquid colorant. If you add more SLSa than this, the liquid becomes too thick to paint with. Microwave mixture to dissolve SLSa, then add fragrance oil & colorant.
Package petals how you like, but the big flowers make a stunning display! Make flowers about 7" in diameter. You can use thinner paper, but I recommend a thicker paper, like .6 mm (for structure). Prepare flowers like petals, except paint front AND back. Mold the flower; gently rub each petal until it's completely flat against the ball. Let the flowers dry, then gently unmold them.
ASSEMBLY: Add big petals first, then smaller ones as you get closer to the center. Keep adding petals until you're satisfied.
