The Bukit Rimbang Resort Team led by the Resort Head Pak AR Azmi together with the Animal Rescue Team released a python (Python reticulatus) species.
Starting Monday, October 25, 2021, the residents of Sungai Kelelawar Village secured a reticulated python that had entered the residents' livestock cage.
The Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center team went down and coordinated with the Village Secretary of Sungai Batelawar Village. The team really appreciates the efforts of the Village Secretary and his residents in securing the snake. The Team did not forget to provide socialization related to efforts to handle wildlife conflicts.
Considering that the condition of the animals is still very good and wild, the joint team immediately releases the animals to a conservation area which is their habitat.
