How to disable the lockscreen on Windows 10
Get rid of the Windows 10 lock screen and make your system to start up faster! Instructions are very simple as usual:
For Windows 10 Pro users:
1. Go to "Windows Search" and type "gpedit"
2. Click on ''Edit Group Policy"
3. Under "Computer Configuration", open "Administrative Templates"
4. Open "Control Panel"
5. Click on "Personalization"
6. On the right pane, double click on "Do not display the lock screen" file
7. Change "Not Configure" to "Enabled"
8. Close Edit Group Policy and restart your computer
You are done!
For Windows 10 Home users:
1. Go to "Windows Search" and type "regedit"
2. Open "regedit"
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
4. Right click on "Windows" folder and create a new key
5. Name it "Personalization" (without columns)
6. Right click on the right pane of Personalization folder and create a DWORD
7. Name it ''NoLockScreen" (without columns)
8. Double click on it and give it a value of 1
9. Close Registry Editor and restart your computer
For creating a Registry Backup (optional):
1. Open regedit, click on ''file'' on top left of menu
2. Click ''Export''
3. Give your desired name and save in a safe place
4. Run it anytime, if anything goes wrong
