How to speed up Google Chrome
Here are some options about how to make your Chrome browser run like a boss! Just follow the instructions below:
1. Keep Chrome up to date (Menu - Help - About Google Chrome)
2. Disable unnecessary settings (Menu - Settings - Advanced)
2a. Under privacy and security, disable all, except ''Protect you and your device from dangerous sites''
2b. Under system, disable all
2c. Under system, open proxy pettings - LAN settings - uncheck
''Automatically detect settings''
3. Chrome flags (type "chrome://flags" on the address bar). Flags list below:
Experimental canvas features - Enabled
Fast tab/window closed - Enabled
Experimental QUIC protocol - Enabled
Scroll prediction - Enabled
Default tile width - 1024
Default tile height - 1024
Simple Cache for HTTP - Enabled
Number of raster threads - 4
Scroll Anchoring - Enabled
No-State Prefetch - Enabled Prerender
Speculative Prefetch - Enabled Prefetching
Parallel downloading - Enabled
Memory ablation experiment - (Depends on your ram, if you have 8 gigs of ram like me, set it to 100 MiB
4. Update all Chrome components (type "chrome://components" on the address bar).
5. Remove unnecessary extensions (Menu - More tools - Extensions)
6. Remove unnecessary bookmarks from bookmarks bar
BONUS TWEAK:
Open ''My Computer - Right click on white space - Properties - Advanced System Settings - Environment Variables - User Variables
Click on ''New'' and add:
Variable name - chrome.exe
Variable value - 3000_Mbps
