Doodly vs DoodleMaker which one is better? For people who are into doodle type, video making and want to know what features are offered by doodly vs. doodle maker, then I have tried putting my frank opinion after having used both the doodly and doodle maker for myself.
To start, doodly has been in the market, for quite some time but doodlemaker is a new entrant. Overall they both make good doodle videos but use slightly different approach and style.
1. While the doodly uses continuous scene transition platform, as you see in some other video editors, DoodleMaker uses slides based scene (like MS Power point format), where we make each scene using the slides, which combine when you export the video at last.
2. Both doodly and doodlemaker has pretty same scene editing capabilities, and you can choose form whiteboard, to blackboard, glass board or customize the background with some other color or your own background images.
3. When it comes to hand, doodly have more options to choose from. You can choose human hand, right, left and cartoon hand. Doodlemaker just has human hands, as you can see here.
4. If we talk about simplicity, both are pretty simple to work with. While in DoodeMaker, we can make images slide from left, right or bottom, doodly does not have that option. But in DoodleMakes each image can only be of 5 seconds maximum duration, whereas doodly does not have that limit.
5. When it comes to fonts, both doody and doodle maker have wide range of fonts to choose from.
6. Both doodle and doodle maker has some collection of music, DoodeMaker has extra features such as test to speech in build, but the voice is too artificial, so personally I dont use it. While in doodly we can customize the music to fade in and out, doodle maker does it atomically with its AI.
7. The latest version of doodly have some advanced function like, zooming and panning to focus on different parts of the slide, camera panning which DodleMaker does not have.
8. Regarding images, doodle maker makes has both black and white and colour images, available at same cost, whereas in doodly we have to buy additional package for colour images. DoodlMaker also has image searching facilities from within the software, so we can search for external images such as from pixabay to add to your project, but in doodly we don’t have internal facilities to import image, but we have to import externally after saving the image to your computer. Given this facility, we can edit little faster in doodlemaker than doodly.
9. Regarding price, doodly is little expensive at around $ 67 whereas doodle maker is $ 49 one time payment.
In conclusion, after having used both the software, I prefer doodly for more professional videos, and doodle maker for simple videos. So the choice is all your…
