Establishing a Dedicated Workspace
While we idolize the notion of "working from home" the painful truth I've learned in my experience is that setting up a home office can be detrimental to your family relationships and your productivity. For these reasons, I recently decided to work at a shared cooperative space downtown. I'll keep you up-to-date on how this experience goes.
Some other options I've tried include: setting up a dedicated room in the basement, working at coffee shop, and working at a quiet study room in the library. While these solutions had some success, my needs for versatility grew as I found myself spending more time meeting with prospective partners.
