Smart Monitoring System
PolyU's inter-disciplinary research teams have developed a "Smart Monitoring System" consisting of different kinds of advanced monitoring technologies to evaluate the structural health and safety of railway systems as well as mega-structures. This system has adopted many different types of advanced technologies to provide railway companies or building owners real-time information on its structural condition for their easy and cost effective maintenance.
