香港理工大學溫州技術創新研究院正式成立 PolyU Established Technology and Innovation Research Institute in Wenzhou
#理大 與溫州市人民政府於11月9日在溫州市人民大會堂舉行簽約暨揭牌儀式，標誌著雙方共建的「香港理工大學溫州技術創新研究院」正式落地 #溫州。研究院將透過技術創新、人才培養及研發服務，在溫州打造匯聚科技企業和人才的創新科技中心。
作為香港首間在溫州市成立技術創新研究院的高校，理大分別與溫州市人民政府及溫州灣新區管委會簽署市、區兩級的合作協議，將與當地重點產業深度合作，聚焦海洋工程裝備與技術、柔性電子及超精密製造技術等領域，促進相關產業在核心技術研發、成果轉化、人才培養及創新創業的發展，助力當地經濟的高品質發展。
#PolyU has recently signed an agreement with Wenzhou Municipal People's Government for the establishment of the PolyU-Wenzhou Technology and Innovation Research Institute, which was also officially unveiled on 9 November. This indicates the further cooperation between the University and the local government that shall give impetus to the innovative tech development of the city of Wenzhou through innovation, talent cultivation, and R&D development.
PolyU is the first university in Hong Kong to set up a Technology and Innovation Research Institute in Wenzhou. The Research Institute will focus on areas including Marine Engineering, Flexible Electronics, and Ultra Precision Manufacturing and strive to collaborate with local industries to drive core research, technology transfer, talent development, and innovation for high-quality economic growth in the region.
