How to make DOS prints darker
When printing from DOS with the "Courier New" font, the result sometimes may seem too light.
To make it darker, you can change the "print quality" in the Printer's options to "fine" or "high quality", or you may select a darker font, like the "aSwIt Mono" one, as shown in this video.

Print from DOS to LPT1:
Print preview with "Courier New"
Choose a darker font, like "aSwIt Mono 437"
Print from DOS to LPT1: again
