DOS print to PDF on Terminal Server
In the previous video, we've seen how to make DOS and Windows-Console programs (installed on Windows Terminal Servers) printing to local and remote Windows printers.
In this video, we see how to export the DOS prints to PDF files through the Printfil virtual printer.
Preparation:
Install GhostScript in the Terminal Server, as shown in the video at https://www.printfil.com/article/dos-...
Let's go:
Login the WTS as Administrator
Create the Printfil virtual printer
Setup the virtual drive; usually W:
Ensure the temp file is in W:
Now let's create the PDF's:
Login the WTS as a standard user
Select the Printfil virtual printer
Print from DOS to LPT1:
Create a PDF of the captured print
