Children studying in 10th grade are eligible to write NTSE. There are2 levels. Level 1 is state level and if you qualify in this round, you are eligible to write the second level which is a national level exam.
NTSE has 2 papers : MAT and SAT. Both have 100 multiple-choice questions. 1 mark is allotted for every correct answer. There is no negative marking. The allotted time for each paper is 2hours.
The one who clears the second level becomes an NTSE scholar and is eligible for the monthly scholarship during pre-degree, degree course, and higher studies.
