Learn to lift ice cubes with a thread.
The materials required :
Thread, 5 to 6 Ice cubes, Water, Salt
Put ice cubes in the water, Try lifting the ice with the thread. Is it possible? No.
Now place the thread on the ice cubes. Sprinkle little salt. Wait for one minute.
After one minute, lift the thread. What do you observe? Amazing! You can lift the ice cubes.
How does this happen?
2 things happen here :
1 . Ice melts faster when you add salt.
2 . The water on the surface of the ice freezes and holds the thread.
