The most common first-person pronoun and second-person pronoun you will come across in formal Japanese instruction are 私 (わたし/"watashi") and あなた ("anata"), respectively. But if you're anything like me and spend a healthy, or even unhealthy, amount of time indulging in Japanese pop culture, you might be wondering the contexts of the other not as commonly used pronouns. So here's a quick run-down of just that, with the second-person pronouns.
