「Learn Japanese」 The Katakana Syllabary

This second video of Learning Japanese covers the katakana syllabary, including a contextual introduction, pronunciations, writing form, and guidelines on how to convert English words into their respective Japanese katakana versions. As a foreword, I believe it's worth mentioning that knowing how to take an English or foreign word and converting it into katakana isn't too necessary a knowledge, especially for beginners of Japanese at this point; undoubtedly the most valuable part of this video is the knowledge of pronunciation and writing (and association) of the katakana characters, a topic which is a very small fraction of this lesson - so don't be intimidated by the thirty minute video length.
