Who Decides the Truth of Sacred Texts
Different religions have their own sacred texts which they regard as divinely inspired Hindus see the Vedas as divine revelations Muslims view the Quran as divinely inspired and some Buddhists consider their sutras to be of Buddhic origin Similarly the Japanese believe that ancient Shinto texts have divine origins So who decides what is true If the church claims that the Bible is true the question remains will you believe the church or not
