You are free to believe that the Bible is literally true and was directly dictated by God to Moses the prophets and the apostles That's your right Though I personally don't share that belief I do think that the Bible is divinely inspired to some extent But since this inspiration comes through human channels it is susceptible to distortion Just as my voice might be altered by the sound system I'm using divine messages can be influenced by the limitations of human language and experience
