Setup A VR Headset With Resolve and Fusion - 360 Video Editing Tutorial
For professional workflows you need to setup a VR headset to see your work. The studio versions of Resolve and Fusion have a VR Headset support for the Fusion tab only. There's not a built in way to look at your Resolve timeline in a headset but if that is something you need you can use these optional tools made by Light Sail VR's VR.NDI plugin along with the Nobe NDI plugin to stream the timeline to a headset.
If you want to see your footage from the Resolve timeline in a VR Headset you will need to use 3 additional plugins. The basis for this solution is a pixel streaming protocol called NDI. NDI can be downloaded and installed for free on your system but to connect Resolve to NDI you need a plugin called Nobe NDI to export the viewer window and you need another tool called VR.NDI to take that stream from NDI and allow you to view that stream inside of a VR Headset.
A major benefit of setting up this workflow is you can stream that video to anyone in the world, so this can be a huge help in building a remote studio workflow.
