Honey I'm in Love With You--Paul Whiteman and His Orch., 1925
From 5/6/1925, an early electric Whiteman (despite the "batwing" label and no mention of "orthophonic"), expertly arranged by Ferde Grofe. I don't know if the highly effective heterophonic, Dixieland-style moments were scored or semi-improvised--I suspsect some ad-libbing was involved. The other takes would tell us, but we only have this one (Take 4).
