Equivocation Hitch Tested
Don't want to pull your rope around a tree or rock when you are done rappelling? Undo equivocation hitch and it just comes down. We tested how strong it was and the other knot we had broke, our stone knot. So "full knot strength". If you can't retrieve your rope, it's not a good hitch, and we found you can only release it after 1 person rappels. If you have to much force on it, it could get stuck. This rope was a prototype that is coming out soon so no rope info for now.
