USB Iphone Personal Hotspot works fine connected to Linux Xubuntu Dell 5400 (not well Linux Mint)
I tested on my iphone xs max with t-mobile the personal hotspot feature using a USB lightning cable.
For linux it worked with a dell 5400 linux Xubuntu
But for linux mint on a g560 lenovo.. it didn't work and kept on trying to connect.

If you decide to make a iphone personal hotspot by USB... (iphone xs max with ios 17.4.1 and t-mobile service)
It will work with:
Macboook big sur, Windows 10, Linux Xubuntu
It didn't work with:
Chromebook, iphone (otg lightning cable), android smartphone (OTG usb c cable)
Just thought this was an interesting test to do.
