Hundred Waters - Array Show 2017 - Designed by Timeboy
Exactly one week ago I was at the El Rey theater with Hundred Waters premiering their new AV show ‘ARRAY’, an installation of my design that I’ve been working on since May.

ARRAY is a mechanical/kinetic hybrid installation piece composed of 60 servo motors and 420 double-sided discs that spin and twists into infinite permutations.

The opportunity to work on this has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I had the pleasure of meeting @freakylampss. Together him and I worked months on end doing research + development, creating countless prototype iterations, and figuring out all the technical hurdles in order to build something that doesn’t exist in the real world. I’ve never in all my years gotten to know an inanimate object so intimately as this installation.

It’s been an incredible journey designing and bringing ARRAY to life. @hundredwaters thank you for believing in me. It’s truly a beautiful piece of art and I can’t think of the anyone that deserves it more than you.
