How to Add a Watermark in Word for Privacy and Security - Text Watermark and Picture Watermark 2022
In this video, I'm going to show you 3 ways on how to insert watermark in Microsoft Word document and how to remove the watermark easily. You'll learn how to add the watermark in your document with a few clicks. This is perfect for people who want to protect their privacy and prevent others from publishing their work without permission.
Here is what you'll will learn
1. Inserting/ adding watermark using already premade templates.
Click Design then click Watermark then choose a watermark you want. Here we have 3 categories of premade template to choose from, the confidential watermarks, disclaimers watermarks, and urgent watermarks. For example you can choose a 'Draft Diagonal Template' and just click it and it will be inserted on your document. To remove the watermark just click on 'Remove Watermark'.
2. Inserting/ adding watermark by customizing the premade templates watermarks using text watermark.
Click Design then click Watermark then Custom watermark then choose text watermark then go to Text and type what you want e.g. 'DON’T RETURN' and it will be inserted in your document. Here you can also customize the Language, Font, Size, colour, layout and transparency of your watermark with the drop down menus. After you customize everything just click ok. To remove the watermark just click on 'Remove Watermark'.
3. Inserting/ adding watermark by using picture watermark to make it more secure.
Click Design then click Watermark then click Custom watermark then choose picture watermark then upload your picture e.g. your business logo. Here you can also customize the Scale i.e. the size of your watermark and Washout i.e. transparency of your watermark with the drop down menus. Just click it and it will be inserted on your document. After you customize everything just click ok. To remove the watermark just click on 'Remove Watermark'.
