The postal, parcel and logistics industry has a huge global footprint when it comes to carbon emissions. This is about to change.
Postal and commercial operators have started to implement new business models with a clear objective to reach zero emissions within the next two decades. Fleets are being electrified to make last mile delivery and line haul environmentally friendly, new buildings have carbon neutral designs, sophisticated technology based on AI brings new levels of efficiency to delivery processes, thus reducing the number of vehicles as well as emissions, and postal and parcel companies work together with their customers and third parties to implement joint efforts to reduce emissions and cut waste.
