Norfolk and Western
Here's another video of Norfolk & Western #475 at Strasburg. While@Mrs.Plow_Bender (Jenna) and I were taking video of the trains going by at the Red Caboose Motel, I had the idea to put one of my cameras close to the tracks. Apparently I wasn't the only one who had this idea, as a couple other railfans there did the same, which you can see on the other side of the tracks.
As you can see, the camera captured #475 from a low angle, which is rather intimidating, especially when the train goes by. One issue you will notice is how when the train goes by, there is some vibration in the camera. I noticed this issue last time when I was videoing a Buffalo & Pittsburgh train, but thought I might get away with it on this occasion as passenger trains aren't as heavy. I have found a solution to minimize the vibration issues, and you will notice this change in later videos from Strasburg.
