The cell phone GPS that I am using is an app called Gaia GPS, It is by far the cheapest, and easiest way to transfer waypoints from Garmin to your cell phone. What you are actually transferring is a .gpx file to your iPhone. We use the app called Garmin Basecamp to select the waypoints you want to transfer and export them in a .gpx file. We then upload them to your Gaia GPS account online. We then transfer the waypoints to your cell phone by synching your online account with your Gaia GPS app.
